The International Executive MBA Program is an online MBA that does just that by equipping all participants with
the knowledge and tools that today's top-level company executives require.
IE Business School is internationally recognized for its innovative approach to business education and training
which is reflected in the Executive MBA Program. The combination of face-to-face and online sessions allows
students from anywhere in the world to pursue this program whilst keeping travel to a minimum.
The virtual forums are active 24 hours a day, providing students with the utmost flexibility during the course. This
ubiquity creates strong and personal links among students, Professors and the Program Directors. Added to this,
the online character of the program and its demanding pace, ensure the immediate practical implementation of
newly acquired knowledge.
IE’s methodology consists of continuous analysis of real-life case studies, which account for 70% of the program,
these further develops students’ personal skills and practical knowledge. The case study method places students
in real situations for their deliberations in an international environment, while the workshops implemented in the
presential periods help participants develop vital management skills.
Structure Three presential periods, 2 of them taking place in Madrid, and the other one in Shanghai
(each of them lasting two weeks)

International Executive MBA Online
The International Executive MBA Program is also available in a bi-weekly format with classes held every other
weekend on-campus in Madrid. This format fosters face-to-face international interaction, as well as dynamic &
continuous working group advancement.
Like the online course, the International Executive MBA bi-weekly also includes a trip to Shanghai, where you will
study at the Fudan School of Management, providing you with valuable exposure to global business trends in an
international environment.
The time in between classes is supported by the online Virtual Campus permitting flexible participation from your
place of residence at your convenience.
Structure Part-time, classes held on Fridays and Saturdays of every other week.
