The Program
The 13-month International Executive MBA opens with an introductory preprogram,
which converges the skills of participants from a variety of backgrounds.
Conducted entirely online, participants will not need to come to Madrid until the
beginning of the first presential period.
The International Executive MBA core courses are divided into two modules, one
dealing with fundamentals, the other with integration.
The international nature of the International Executive MBA allows students to
develop an international network of contacts throughout the business community,
both through your professors and your peers.
Online Version
The combination of face-to-face and online sessions permits participants to follow the
program while keeping travel to a minimum. Furthermore, the asynchronous nature
of the online periods allows participants to follow the program at their own pace,
allowing them the flexibility required of an MBA pursued in parallel with a professional
career. The presential periods, held in Madrid and Shanghai, complement the online
methodology of the program, cementing the inter-personal relationships between
students and professors. Presential periods also include skill-building activities, the
presentation of individual and group projects, and assessment test to consolidate work
done during the presential and online training periods.
The Virtual Campus is the fundamental point of reference for the teacher-led online
sessions, placing the comments, opinions, and experiences of professors and fellow
students, as well as general information on the program at participants’ fingertips,
around-the-clock, letting them study at their leisure.
Bi-weekly Version
The presential nature of the International Executive MBA does not compromise the
flexibility of the program: with classes held every other week, the presential International
Executive MBA Bi-weekly affords you the same flexibility as the online version. The biweekly
version also includes a session in Shanghai, in order to provide you with some
international exposure, and the opportunity to develop your cross-cultural skills.

Artem Eremin, Russia
International Executive MBA '05
General Director, Germany, Russia Fonterra
“The learning process was very, very intense. It was tough and hard
to handle but the intensity resulted in very special feeling which is
similar to on, which Goleman calls “FLOW” in his book “Emotional Intelligence”. It is
like one is mobilizing all knowledge he has acquired and use it to write assignment or
participate in online discussion. The other point is FUN – a lot of FUN. The third point
is very professional management of the course.”
Alexei Denisov, Russia

First Deputy Chairman of the Board Sobinbank
“The knowledge I got during tuition in IE helps me systemize my previous
business experience.
It helps me to get holistic vision in business processes in companies. Now I can see
“weak parts” faster and more precisely, and I have a set of tools to react and prevent
potential problems.”
